    I ordered a telescope in Sydney. 10 days later after not receiving it I checked online and the order hadn't even been processed. I called to be informed "there must be delays in processing orders" and that my order hadn't been sent yet from the Adelaide store where it was being processed. Bear in mind I had not even received an email to say sorry there are delays, no communication at all.

    I was told they would send it maybe next week. Only upon threatening to cancel the order did the phone agent get the Adelaide store to express post it to me and have it arrive the next day - just in time for my child's birthday which I had ordered it for with what I thought was plenty of time.

    I love the physical stores, but after that experience I won't be ordering anything online again, and I'd think twice before buying in store.

    10 days to not process an order, and if there are delays not even apologise or let the customer know is just not acceptable guys. It does not reflect well on your Adelaide store if that's how they treat online orders.

    You get an extra star for express posting the item, even though it took me going to cancel the order if it wasn't.

    Ordered an article but haven't heard since. money came from my account the next day but have not received goods. I've made so many calls & they do not answer the phone. Have emailed them 3 times and still not received a reply. No communication & worse still no goods. My next step is dept fair trading.

    Absolutely terrible. We placed an order over 2 weeks ago. Not a word. Trying to call them is virtually impossible I have now been on the phone for 55 minutes. I got to be No 1 in the queue and was told they were experiencing technical difficulties. I then dropped to No 8 in the queue and am now 7. I sent an email asking for my order to be cancelled 2 days ago. Still no response. Not good enough. I will never shop with you again.

    I waited on hold yesterday for 78 minutes with the recording counting me down from caller number 8 down to caller number 1 with me waiting as caller number 1 for about 20 minutes. Had to hang up, I do have a life.

    It is now 2 weeks since my order was placed, you have taken my money with no problems but you have problems in replying to my emails.

    All I want to know is, when will my order be shipped?!

    Your customer service is disgusting. I wish for my experience in dealing with your company be escalated to a higher level so they are aware of how bad their service is. In saying that, they probably know and don't care. This is the overall feeling I get from National Geographic, you just don't care about the customer, don't care about responding to the customer, don't care about your ridiculously long phone wait times.

    All I want is my order. My sons birthday was yesterday. I chose to wait for my order to be delivered rather than drive to Kotara store to collect items. I would have had to pay for the items at the store which isn't a problem but your company is so unprofessional I am sure getting a refund from you, a simple process, would be near impossible for you to manage.

    By the way, I really don't give a crap that you "have had phone issues", figure out a work around in the meantime! Your emails would be still working but still no reply / service!!!

    Really disappointed customer.

    Dealing with this mob is just plain horrible! I placed an order in what I thought was plenty of time to fill a birthday order, but two-and-a-half weeks later there was still no sign of it. Added to that it is impossible to contact them as they NEVER answer the phone and several emails went without response. They were however, very quick to take my money! I would strongly recommend that you DO NOT deal with this company. Perhaps even one star is overrating them.
